Do you believe in fate? Have you ever just wanted to tell that bitch “F*** you…don’t tell me how to live my life!”? Xing’s “Fate” does a good job of explaining exactly how to do that. It’s as if Tom Petty and Chris Martin’s love child took some ecstasy and spent the weekend naked at Bonnaroo. Trust me, there’s nothing like a naked weekend at Bonnaroo!
Xing is an incredible indie/folk band from London and Los Angeles. They currently have an EP in the process of being mixed. They uploaded “Fate” to Soundcloud about a year ago with the intention of sharing it with some friends. Little did they know that the demo would organically spread to over 150,000 people. (Of course it did…the song is chill and amazing).
If you’re looking for something relaxing and unique, Xing is the band for you. I wanted to know more…to hear more, so what did I do? I Google them, of course. I stumbled upon another song called “Glimmer” by the group. You can find it on their website at itsxing.bandcamp.com and support them by purchasing the song for only $1 USD.
I also found an endearing YouTube video for “Fate”. I recommend checking it out. I honestly can’t wait to hear more! This chick is a fan, point blank. I hope you all will be too.
