The second I saw that Daft Punk had a new single on iTunes, I had to buy it. So, how is it?
The first time you listen to ‘Get Lucky’ you’ll immediately notice one thing– It’s Daft Punk.
Throughout their career, Daft Punk has always had a unique sound, and Get Lucky doesn’t much depart from it.
If anything, it shows a maturation of their style. This is easily one of the most vocal-heavy tracks I’ve heard from them, and I love it. They talk about staying up to ‘get lucky’–take that as you will. Honestly, it’s just a fun, upbeat, fast dance/electronia track that I’ve quickly fallen in love with. It makes me even more excited Daft Punk’s upcoming album, and their comeback in general. I’d encourage you to head over to iTunes or AmazonMP3 and grab it, I know you’ll love it.
