The Crashtones

Once upon a time

Screw that.

Recently, as I was scrolling through Netflix to locate something to play for background noise, (while punishing myself with a shit ton of homework because I had the brilliant idea to go back to school) I discovered “Being Human“.
Now, I know what you’re thinking – allow me to defend myself by saying that I’d rather read than watch television, so yes, I apparently have been living under a rock.

I digress…

I love the show. Everything about it. Though we always get enamored with one character over the others, and of course what hot-blooded woman isn’t going to yearn for the handsome, brooding vampire with deep eyes, a sexy voice and gorgeous mouth? Yeah, that’s what I thought.

Of course, once I had swooned over Aidan, I had to look up Mr. Sam Witwer, because I knew I’d seen him in something else. However, before I could come to the conclusion that I had also seen him in “Dexter” (thank you again, Netflix), I read that he’s a musician, so I just had to check into that.

Alright, admittedly I was skeptical. I mean, very few people can act and sing equally well. Usually musicians that try to act, or actors who try to become rock stars are just … well, let’s say most of them should stick to one and forget the other. Not Sam.

His singing voice matches his speaking voice and believe me, if you’ve heard it, then you’ve felt a chill travel up your spine from that ever insinuated growl that lies just below the surface. Resonating perfectly from those deep bass, silver laden pipes of his.

The man can open his mouth to sing damn near anything and melt women’s panties from here to Mars. (Providing they have underwear) And I’m willing to bet that Alien panties are even harder to scorch than ours.

Anyway, his music brings something to the table for everyone –
The girls will love it because it sounds good and he’s hot, the guys will love it because it sounds good and it’ll help them get laid. Win/Win situation. Or at least, I’d like to think so.

Before you go getting offended that this post has been dripping with sensual, sexual tension build-up, understand that Sex and Rock and Roll have always gone hand in hand.

Sam just happens to wrap both things up in a nice package that can be delivered digitally or via mail.
Don’t be jealous, be supportive!
